The Nursing Department is one of the new academic departments established in 2014 EC (2021/2022 GC) under the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Since its inception, the department has enrolled students and taught through various programs. The department organizes classrooms and equipment, develops teaching skills, conducts problem-solving research and studies, provides valuable community services, and delivers quality education.
Currently, the department teaches 224 students in total, including:
- 5 postgraduate (second degree) students
- 219 undergraduate (first degree) students (165 regular and 54 private program students).
The department currently has 21 staff members:
- 4 Assistant Professors
- 12 Lecturers
- 1 Assistant Lecturer
- 3 Technical Assistants
- 1 secretary
Among the staff, 1 Assistant Professor and 1 Lecturer are pursuing their third degrees (Ph.D.) abroad, while 1 Assistant Lecturer is pursuing advanced studies locally.
